Episode 72: Shared Death Experiences & The Afterlife with Paul Perry and Raymond Moody
November 3rd, 2023 | Season 4 | 1 hr 8 mins
history, metaphysics, philosophy, religion, spirituality
Is it possible for people to share a loved one's experience of dying? Co-authors Paul Perry and Raymond Moody ("Life After Life") believe so, based on extensive research into the subject, distilled into their new book PROOF OF LIFE AFTER LIFE: 7 REASONS TO BELIEVE THERE IS AN AFTERLIFE. They joined me to discuss their multiple decades of research into near-death experiences (NDEs) and various other aspects of afterlife research, going back to the godfather himself, Plato, and his PHAEDO. Both Paul and Raymond have had NDEs themselves, so they know from experience, not just book learning. We also discuss: Raymond's psychomanteum experiments, the lack of humour (and insight) shared by fundamentalists towards afterlife research, why the NDE may be the root of religion (dating back to ancient Egypt), why "skeptics" of the NDE are really pseudoskeptics, why no one eats their food at dinner parties with Raymond, other "paranormal" experiences relating to death, insights of Parmenides, crystal ball gazing, the origins and nature of truth, David Hume's thoughts on new faculties of mind, the ongoing evolution of consciousness, the need for a new logic to grapple with the afterlife, Queen Elizabeth's scryer John Dee (and the connection to 007), and much more.

Episode 70: Israel and Palestine: An Emergency Truth Broadcast with Joachim Hagopian
October 16th, 2023 | Season 4 | 1 hr 18 mins
conspiracy, government, history, israel, politics
Journalist Joachim Hagopian returns to dissect the Israel-Hamas narrative that exploded in the media in recent days, starting October 7th, and see what we're NOT being told about it. We ask some fundamental questions such as, "How could Israel's defence forces have possibly been caught unaware of the Hamas incursion?", and "Who benefits?" Even Israel's media has begun to turn on Bibi Netanyahu, essentially blaming him for the Hamas attack. Joachim observes how the timing of such an event is actually perfect for Israel's PM, but pushes further into the territory where angels fear to tread by looking at the bigger picture, including who really runs Israel, what their goals are, the role of Ashkenazi Jews, the idea of the "Biblical homeland," and much more. Joachim also discusses whether the Hamas attack was set up and planned by Israeli government agents as contrasted against the claim Israel's government forces were "taken by surprise." Was the Hamas event another false flag? Join Joachim and Brendan to find out...

Episode 68: Forbidden Archeology: Evidence of Extreme Human Antiquity With Michael Cremo
September 15th, 2023 | Season 4 | 1 hr 16 mins
archeology, history, religion, science, spirituality
Extreme human antiquity? Forbidden archeologist and author Michael Cremo joins Brendan to discuss his decades-long and detailed research into the question: how old is humanity REALLY? Michael is an expert in the field of suppressed and ignored history, particularly as it pertains to the origins of humankind. Influenced by a long-running interest in the ancient spiritual teachings of India, Cremo shares a wealth of scientific archeological evidence that supports the Vedic notion that humanity is actually millions of years old. His work provides a huge uppercut to the Establishment’s (unproved) theory of Darwinian evolution.

Episode 65: The Saturn Death Cult Revealed: The Ancient Key to Today's Historical Enigmas With Troy McLachlan
July 21st, 2023 | Season 4 | 1 hr 9 mins
cosmology, history, mythology
Troy McLachlan joins me to discuss his outstanding research into what he calls the Saturn Death Cult. Drawing on research from Velikovsky through to the Electric Universe paradigm, as well as conspiracies, finance, and more, he weaves a fascinating historical and cosmological tapestry, adeptly painting the picture of what life on earth may have been like pre-120,000 years ago, and how the firmament likely appeared to our ancestors (hint: VERY differently!), and how and why it changed at key moments. This leads him into who and what the Saturn Death Cult is, and its ongoing influence and activity in the world today. McLachlan's work also offers alternative explanations of a number of core ideas in the Abrahamic religions, including the "eye of God", the "let there be light" moment, the “mark of Cain”, what the Biblical “void” really was, as well as making the compelling case that cultures around the world witnessed and recorded shocking events in the heavens and preserved them in myth and symbol. Don't miss this.

Episode 63: Caesar's Messiah: Rome's Greatest Crime?
June 30th, 2023 | Season 4 | 59 mins 1 sec
conspiracy, history, religion
Independent scholar and autodidact Joseph Atwill joins us for a compelling and shocking discussion of his research findings into KEY ideas, characters, and events in the Bible. Once a Christian believer himself, a young Atwill became a voracious reader and began a detailed inquiry into a realm of Biblical scholarship that featured a glaring - and almost unforgivable - blind spot. It seems that Atwill was the first person to actually notice it, and even today most scholars refuse to acknowledge it and grapple with the earth-shattering ramifications. He dubs it, "The most catastrophic failure of human intellect in history."
In discussing his groundbreaking book “Caesar's Messiah,” Atwill outlines a revolutionary discovery connecting: the events in Jesus' ministry as depicted in the Gospels and events recorded by the historian Josephus. From this revelation, Atwill unravels one of the best kept secrets of the past 2,000 years regarding the true origins and original intentions of Christianity. Strap in!

Episode 57: The Censored History of Smallpox: What Role Did Vaccines Play?
March 2nd, 2023 | Season 3 | 46 mins 53 secs
conspiracy, health, history, medicine
The word "smallpox" used to evoke terror in many through the 1800s and early 20th century. Few people know the murky history of smallpox and how it was eventually conquered. Most people assume vaccination is what allowed our triumph over this once-feared condition. This "wondrous innovation" was the brainchild of medical pioneer and humanitarian Edward Jenner - wasn't it? That's the state-sponsored story we've been sold - but what if it's not QUITE what really happened? And what if Jenner wasn't all that? Do you know how the English city of Leicester eliminated smallpox? It's a dirty little secret of medical history. Today, our programmed fear of smallpox, flu, and other "dread diseases" is out of all proportion with reality, and shows that we have forgotten how potent basic, natural, common-sense measures can be in keeping individuals, and thus society, healthy. Take a tour with Brendan through the shocking history of smallpox and the unflattering background - and methods - of the godfather of smallpox vaccination, Edward Jenner.

Episode 56: New Revelations About the Old Testament with Ralph Ellis
January 18th, 2023 | Season 3 | 1 hr 5 secs
history, mythology, religion, theology
Why are so many of the famous biblical characters missing from the historical record? Forty years ago, the intrepid and dogged researcher Ralph Ellis decided to find out. Does this biblical lacuna mean that both the Old and New Testaments are fictional, as many people have claimed? Or are we simply looking in the wrong locations or perhaps even the wrong eras?
The first glimmer of the truth was not hard to see, for even the 1st century Romo-Jewish historian Josephus Flavius claimed that the Israelites were the Hyksos pharaohs of Egypt. In which case the Book of Exodus may well be correct, from a historical context, but both theologians and historians were looking in the wrong era. Upon further investigation it transpired that Josephus was correct: the biblical Hyksos-Israelite Exodus was a real historical event.
From this small kernel of truth, the entire biblical epic has now been transformed from mystic mythology into a central component of real secular history. All the way from Genesis to Revelations, this simple but rational reevaluation technique became the foundation for much of Ralph’s work. Join me through a fascinating re-visioning of key Biblical events and personages.

Episode 55: Visions of Atlantis with Michael Le Flem
December 21st, 2022 | Season 3 | 1 hr 2 mins
ancient history, history
The legend of Atlantis has captured the imaginations of millions of people worldwide - thousands of books have been written on it, and with good reason. This week historian Michael Le Flem joins me to discuss his deep and eclectic research into the subject. Drawing on everything from ancient records and myths from around the world, to psychic sources of information, Le Flem presents a view of Atlantis much more compelling than the usual superficial caricatures promoted by "skeptics" and debunkers. His work supports Graham Hancock's thesis that humanity is a species with SEVERE amnesia - we have forgotten who we are and where we come from. If Le Flem's work and sources are even vaguely accurate, the timeline of Atlantis extends back some 200,000 years, meeting its untimely end roughly around 10,500 BC. We discuss everything from Plato, the 50,000 BC megafauna dieoff, the first incarnations of homo sapiens and "mitochondrial Eve," the deceptive and pallid arguments of the debunking community, the likely location of the lost continent of Atlantis, the incredible work of Edgar Cayce and what he said about Atlantis, the Egypt and Giza connection, Frederick Oliver's strange work "A Dweller on Two Planets," advanced Atlantean technology comparable to today's smart phones, key Atlantean figures, Poseid, the multiple stages of Atlantis' destruction over time, and much, much more.
Don't miss this.

Episode 54: Ancient Memories of Inundation - Tribal Myths of Prehistoric Catastrophe Proved True with Dr Patrick Nunn
November 28th, 2022 | Season 3 | 46 mins 23 secs
ancient history, geography, geology, history, indigenous culture
In this episode respected geologist and geographer Patrick Nunn shares insights into his ground-breaking research into ancient indigenous cultures and their oral traditions. Nunn’s work shows that these pre-literate societies’ verbally transmitted myths and legends actually encode truthful information about ancient catastrophic sea level rise and the resultant land loss and trauma. Astonishing cross-correlations between geographical and geological evidence and such stories dating back as much as 13,000 years have been established, validating ancient stories that were once dismissed as fable and imaginative fabrication. Nunn’s work supports the idea that while mainstream culture makes humanity look like a species with amnesia, many indigenous cultures have succeeded in remembering at least some of their roots—roots reaching back thousands of years.
